Happy New Year from OCH!
We bid farewell to 2011 at the North Star Mohican Casino with many new friends who filled the Bingo Hall (and a few die-hards who made a long trip to join us). What a year it's been. We're looking forward to what 2012 brings. But before we get to that...let's re-live the memories from the show. The night started out kind of short on "quotes" but it soon picked up. Must've had something to do with that tray of shots!
![]() ![]() ![]() We measure success according to your liver's miles per gallon!
Saturday night at Jug's Hitching Post. Another gig, another new song debut, and another coined phrase. "Liver Milage" will be the new standard for party efficiency. OCH boosts your MPG. Look out STP!
![]() ![]() Halloween at Perls - it never gets old!
Oil Can Harry transoformed into "Bed Pan Harry" for the Halloween Costume Contest at Perls. Saggy socks, grey/blue hair and inappropriate scratching aside, it was great fun. For some lucky contest and raffle winners, it was also a very rewarding night. The downstairs band, "Ask Your Mother" kept the party going while Nettie the Nurse tended to her dehydrated "patients" in OCH. Can't wait for the next holiday show.
![]() ![]() ![]() Oktoberfest...And it's actually October!
Oil Can Harry went head-to-head with The Brewers, The Badgers, 40-degree temperatures and the vibrant LaCrosse Oktoberfest bar scene...And everybody won! And the next day's Packers victory helped ease the sting of everyone's hangover. Prosit!
![]() ![]() ![]() Skirts and skunks. Leather and pleather. Liquor and slickers. Tomahawk is tops!
Lots of fashion choices. Lots of food choices. Way too many drink choices! And the finest assemblage of riders and non-riders this side of Sturgis. The annual Tomahawk Fall Ride continues to be an Oil Can Harry favorite. Ride, ride, ride!
![]() ![]() ![]() One gig...make it a good one!
After last week's three-gig extravaganza, this week seemed like a breeze. Stay in the southern part of the state, get fed by the good folks at the Chuckwagon, then go out and give the Sheboygan County Fair somethin' to rawk about. Done, done and done!
![]() ![]() ![]() Rocking...and driving...and rocking...and driving...and rocking...and driving...
This week's setlist report is late because...well, I was EXHAUSTED after the three-gig weekend. Luckily the quotable moments from West Bend, Brantwood and Manitowoc are still amusing after all this time.
Thursday: ![]() ![]() Friday: ![]() ![]() ![]() Lots of beer...not much corn!
Three shows in three days makes for a busy weekend on the Corn & Beer circuit. Manitowoc, Eden and State Fair...thanks for joining us on the ride!
Saturday: ![]() ![]() ![]() Sunday: ![]() ![]() ![]() Rocking bikes and trucks and people...that's what we do!
Good times with some wild people this weekend. Mishicot outdid last year's MudFest, which is sayin' somethin'! Then we took the show on the road to Curtiss and met some fine people. We love putting on a show, but thanks for putting on a show for us!
I had a little trouble scanning in all of the lost & found objects to include with the setlists this week.. But thanks for donating your shoes, bug repellant, alcohol, snacks, hair clips and bracelets to the cause! Friday: ![]() ![]() ![]() Goin' hog wild from state to state!
Amazing HOT weekend with new & old friends in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. Had a blast at our return to Howards Grove on Friday, then Saturday was just, well...Hog Wild! Some people become OCH legends through their photos, others through their quotes. Either way, thanks for contributing to the madness.
